Met Police Charge 18-Year Old Shetland Man With Computer Misuse

July 31 (Bloomberg) -- London police today charged Jake Davis, 18-years old, from the Shetland Islands, Scotland, with computer misuse, Metropolitan Police said in an e-mailed statement. Charges include unauthorized access to a computer system and “conspiracy with others to carry out a Distributed Denial of Service Attack on the website of the Serious and Organised Crime Agency,” according to the statement.

Davis will appear in custody at the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, the police said.
