July 19 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are from the previous close.
The AEX-Index in Amsterdam dropped 1.9 percent to 323.17. Belgium’s Bel20 Index fell 2.2 percent to 2,384.12. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index declined 1.6 percent to 1,348.59.
Macintosh Retail Group NV (MACIN NA): Dutch antitrust regulator NMa approved Vodafone Group Plc’s purchase of Macintosh’s BelCompany stores under certain conditions to safeguard competition. Macintosh Retail shares retreated 2.3 percent to 15.62 euros.
Belgacom SA (BELG BB): The biggest telephone company in Belgium will have to give rival operators access to a combined offering of telephony, television services and broadband Internet through its DSL network by October 2012.
Separately, Belgian regulators denied Belgacom access to the nation’s cable networks for digital television services and broadband Internet. Belgacom shares declined 1.7 percent to 22.61 euros.
Euronav NV (EURN BB): Belgium’s sole publicly traded oil-tanker owner may report a second-quarter loss of $16.7 million, according to the average of four analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The shares fell 3.8 percent to 8.37 euros.
Telenet Group Holding NV (TNET BB): The Belgian cable operator controlled by Liberty Global Inc. (LBTYA US) was told by Belgian regulators to provide wholesale offerings of analogue television services, broadband Internet and give competitors access to its digital TV platform by October 2012. Telenet shares lost 2.4 percent to 32.22 euros.
