June 30 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine will open bids for four energy producers and distributors in August, Interfax-Ukraine news wire reported, citing State Property Fund Head Oleksandr Ryabchenko.
The fund will open the process to sell a 45 percent stake in VAT Zakhidenergo, an energy producer, a 25 percent stake in AK Kyivenergo, an energy generating and distribution company, a 50 percent share in VAT EK Zakarpattyaoblenergo and a 46 percent stake of VAT Cherkasyoblenergo, both electricity distributors, the news agency said.
The fund, based in Ukraine’s capital city of Kiev, will also open bids for three energy companies in September and for four companies in October, Interfax said.
