June 30 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese investors were net buyers of foreign bonds during the week ended June 24 according to figures based on reports from designated major investors released by the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo.
Japanese investors bought 304 billion yen ($3.8 billion) in overseas bonds and notes, bought 49.3 billion yen in overseas stocks and sold 13.8 billion yen in overseas short term securities. That results in a total net purchase of 339.6 billion yen.
Foreign investors sold 978.7 billion yen in Japanese bonds, sold 31.8 billion yen in stocks, and sold 46.8 billion yen in short term securities, resulting in a total net sale 1057.3 billion yen.
