June 28 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 4:30 p.m. close in Bangkok.
The SET Index rose 3.18, or 0.3 percent, to 1,013.50.
Aeon Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Pcl (AEONTS TB), a consumer finance lender, dropped 2.8 percent to 35 baht. Net income in the quarter ended May 20 declined 3 percent to 225.7 million baht ($7.3 million).
Chumporn Palm Oil Industry Pcl (CPI TB), a palm oil producer, gained 1.9 percent to 4.20 baht, the highest close since June 3. Palm oil in Malaysia advanced for the first time in five days.
Nation Multimedia Group Pcl (NMG TB), a media company, slumped 6.4 percent to 1.03 baht, extending yesterday’s 14 percent slide. The company yesterday cut the par value of its stock to 1 baht a share from 10 baht, according to its regulatory filing.
