June 29 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose stocks may have unusual price changes in Paris. Symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.
France’s CAC 40 Index climbed 1.4 percent to 3,851.89.
Casino Guichard-Perrachon SA (CO FP): The supermarket operator asked Cia. Brasileira de Distribuicao Grupo Pao de Acucar’s Chairman Abilio Diniz to immediately call a board meeting to discuss the proposal to merge Pao de Acucar and Carrefour SA’s unit in Brazil. Pao de Acucar disclosed the request from Casino in a regulatory filing. The shares fell 5.6 percent to 62.20 euros.
Excel Industries SA (EXE FP): The maker of spray equipment said third-quarter sales rose to 146.2 million euros from 119.4 million euros and it expects faster growth in the fourth quarter. The shares rose 0.6 percent to 40.55 euros.
GFI Informatique (GFI FP): The computer services company said it will issue 50 million euros of convertible bonds. The stock gained 0.3 percent to 3.81 euros.
