June 28 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Canadian trading today.
Ballard Power Systems Inc. (BLD CN): The maker of hydrogen fuel cells denied media reports that it is considering an investment in an Indian corporation. The company’s shares fell 2.6 percent to C$1.52 in regular trading yesterday.
Dollarama Inc. (DOL CN): Canada’s largest chain of dollar stores said Bain Capital Partners LLC has agreed to sell its 9.16 million shares of the company for C$32.50 a share, yesterday’s closing price.
Spartan Oil Corp. (STO CN): The oil explorer with operations in western Canada agreed to sell “certain non-core assets” in Saskatchewan for about C$21 million ($21.3 million), according to a press release on Marketwire.
Westport Innovations Inc. (WPT CN): The developer of natural-gas engine technology said it has reached an agreement with General Motors Co. to work on projects together.
