Lebanon Takes in About 1,000 Refugees From Syria, Guardian Says

June 25 (Bloomberg) -- As many as 1,000 Syrians fled to neighboring Lebanon after 20 people were killed in anti-government protests yesterday, the Guardian reported today, citing an unnamed Lebanese security official.

The refugees escaped via the al-Qusair crossing into northern Lebanon, the report said.
