Mavericks Defeat Heat 105-95 to Win Dallas’ 1st NBA Championship

June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Jason Terry had 27 points off the bench to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 105-95 win against the Miami Heat and the first National Basketball Association championship in franchise history.

Dirk Nowitzki, who finally got an NBA championship ring in his 13th season with the Mavericks, added 21 points as Dallas won the series four games to two.

LeBron James had 21 points for Miami, and committed six of his team’s 16 turnovers.
