June 12 (Bloomberg) -- The state-owned Japan Bank for International Cooperation pledged a $23.5 million grant to fund a water project in Jordan, the Jordan Times reported today.
The agreement is due to be signed later this month, the newspaper said, citing Planning Minister Jaafar Hassan, who returned yesterday from a visit to Japan. The Asian country is also considering a loan to support Jordan’s budget, the paper said, without giving further details.
