Astra, International Nickel, Ramayana: Indonesia Equity Preview

May 27 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.

The Jakarta Composite index rose 0.9 percent to 3,814.82.

Metal producers: Tin for three-month delivery declined 2.9 percent to $26,900 a metric ton in London yesterday. Nickel fell 2.5 percent to $22,825 a ton. PT Timah (TINS IJ), the nation’s biggest tin producer, gained 1 percent to 2,625 rupiah and PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO IJ), Indonesia’s largest producer of the metal, advanced 2.1 percent to 4,900 rupiah.

PT Astra International (ASII IJ): The company’s financing venture, PT Toyota Astra Financial Services, will sell as much as 750 billion rupiah ($87.5 million) of bonds to help fund its business, it said in a statement published in Bisnis Indonesia today. The offering period is June 27 to July 1, it said. Astra, Indonesia’s biggest automotive retailer, gained 2.1 percent to 59,300 rupiah.

PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa (RALS IJ): The Indonesian retailer allocated as much as 200 billion rupiah to build eight department stores this year, Kontan reported, citing Director Setyadi Surya. Ramayana was unchanged at 770 rupiah.
