May 20 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4:19 p.m. New York time.
The Ipsa index rose 0.1 percent to 4,818.96.
AES Gener SA (GENER CC) increased 0.8 percent to 276.35 pesos, its fourth day of gains. Chile’s second-largest power producer by installed capacity posted first-quarter net income of $103.5 million, compared with $57.9 million profit a year earlier, according to a statement posted on the website of Chile’s securities regulator.
Corpbanca (CORPBANC CC) rose 1.4 percent to 7.45 pesos. A package of 14.4 billion shares in Chile’s sixth-largest lender by assets was auctioned in Santiago today for the minimum price of 7.35 pesos each. The shares, worth $227 million, were bought and sold by the brokerage unit of Celfin Capital SA on behalf of clients that weren’t identified by the Santiago exchange.
Cruzados SADP (CRUZADOS CC) declined 5.1 percent to 205 pesos, the most in a week. The company manages the Universidad Catolica soccer team, which was eliminated last night from the Libertadores international tournament.
Empresas AquaChile SA (AQUACHIL CC) fell 1.4 percent to 468.98 pesos. Chile’s largest salmon farmer ceded part of its 5 percent gain posted yesterday after the company’s initial public offering.
E-CL SA (ECL CC) rose 4.7 percent to 1,335 pesos. The Chilean power generator is being included in the MSCI Chile index, according to a statement from MSCI Inc. MSCI had announced May 16 that only Cia. Pesquera Camanchaca SA and Paz Corp SA would be included.
