Skype Co-Founder Saw IPO as Getting Higher Value, FT Reports

May 17 (Bloomberg) -- Skype Technologies SA co-founder Niklas Zennstrom had argued privately that an initial public offering of the Internet calling service would have got it a higher value compared with a sale, the Financial Times reported, citing two people close to the sale of Skype to Microsoft Corp. for $8.5 billion last week.
