The AEX-Index in Amsterdam lost 0.7 percent to 354.86. Belgium’s Bel20 Index rose 0.2 percent to 2,727.71. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index added 0.1 percent to 1,439.31.
Spyker Cars NV (SPYKR NA) China Youngman Automobile Group Co. is the new frontrunner for a deal with Saab Automobile, the Swedish carmaker owned by Spyker Cars NV, Dagens Industri reported, citing unidentified sources. Youngman has been holding discussions with Saab for months, and has emerged as the prime candidate for an investment and production deal after Saab’s tentative agreement with Hawtai Motor Group ended May 12, the Swedish newspaper said. Spyker Cars fell 4 cents to 3.55 euros.
Ackermans & van Haaren NV (ACKB BB), Cie. d’Entreprises CFE SA (CFEB BB): Dredging Environmental & Marine Engineering NV, the dredging company co-owned by Ackermans and CFE, said its Australian joint venture with Van Oord Groep NV won a contract valued at about $580 million for the development of the Gladstone liquefied-natural-gas project. Ackermans was little changed at 70 euros. CFE fell 1.4 percent to 55 euros.
Banimmo SA (BANI BB): The developer controlled by Affine SA sold a retail property in Clamart, France, for 20 million euros ($28 million) and expects to record a gain on the transaction. Banimmo dropped 0.4 percent to 13.20 euros.
Cie. du Bois Sauvage SA (COMB BB): The investment firm with holdings in Berenberg Bank and chocolate maker Neuhaus SA reported net asset value of 324 euros a share as of May 12 and said it sold part of its stakes in Cofinimmo SA and Ter Beke NV. Bois Sauvage retreated 0.8 percent to 224.51 euros.
Floridienne SA (FLOB BB): The Belgian investment company with holdings in the food, chemical and biotechnology industries will pay off all net debt by the end of the year with proceeds from the February sale of a stake in MCP Group SA, Le Soir reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Gaetan Waucquez. Floridienne was unchanged at 143.70 euros.
Leasinvest Real Estate SCA (LEAS BB): The owner of offices, shops and warehouses in Belgium and Luxembourg said first-quarter earnings before changes in the value of properties and interest-rate derivatives fell to 1.15 euros a share from 1.66 euros a year earlier. Leasinvest rose 1.3 percent to 69.90 euros.
Roularta Media Group NV (ROU BB): Belgium’s biggest magazine publisher is scheduled to report first-quarter sales before the start of trading. Roularta surged 7.8 percent to 29.45 euros.
Sofina SA (SOF BB): Toshiba Corp. is near an agreement to buy Landis+Gyr AG, the Swiss electronic-metering company in which Sofina holds a 9.94 percent stake, for more than $2 billion, according to two people who declined to be identified because the details are private. Sofina climbed 1.3 percent to 72.17 euros.
Transics International NV (TRAN BB): Belgium’s biggest maker of on-board computers for trucks said first-quarter sales rose 10 percent to 10.5 million euros. Transics was unchanged at 7.06 euros.
