May 15 (Bloomberg) -- John Browne, the former BP Plc chief executive officer, is one of two candidates to replace John Parker as chairman of the U.K.’s National Grid Plc, the Sunday Times reported.
Ken Harvey, National Grid’s senior independent director who leads the search for the chairman, will update the board on his progress this week, the newspaper said, without citing anyone. Parker’s replacement is likely to be announced at the company’s annual meeting in July, according to the Sunday Times.
