Pfizer Tells 900 U.K. Staff They Are ‘at Risk,’ Telegraph Says

May 8 (Bloomberg) -- Pfizer Inc., the world’s biggest drugmaker, has told 900 employees at a U.K. research and development office that their jobs are “at risk,” the Sunday Telegraph reported, citing a spokesman for the company.

Pfizer plans to close the site in Kent, southeast England, where 2,400 people work, according to the report. The company wants to transfer “several hundred positions to other sites,” the paper said.
