Nairobi Stock Exchange, FTSE Sign Agreement, Business Daily Says

May 3 (Bloomberg) -- The Nairobi Stock Exchange and FTSE International Ltd. signed an agreement under which new NSE/FTSE stock and bond indexes will be marketed to international investors, Business Daily reported.

The deal may lead to the creation of exchange-traded funds and other index-based products to attract foreign investment into the Kenyan market, the Nairobi-based newspaper said, citing Terrence Adembesa, product development manager at the NSE.
