May 2 (Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or fall in Persian Gulf markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.
Dubai’s DFM General Index lost 0.4 percent, and the ADX General Index fell 0.2 percent. Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index declined 0.2 percent and Qatar’s QE Index lost 0.1 percent.
Dubai Investments PJSC (DIC UH): The company which owns stakes in more than 40 companies said first-quarter profit dropped to 101 million dirhams ($27 million) from 277.7 million dirhams a year earlier. The shares retreated 2.8 percent to 87.8 fils.
Kuwait Projects Co. (KPROJ KK): The country’s biggest privately owned investment company said first-quarter profit jumped fourfold as it recorded growth from its operating companies. The shares were unchanged at 420 fils.
