May 1 (Bloomberg) -- Northampton beat Perpignan 23-7 today to reach the final of European rugby’s Heineken Cup where it will play Leinster.

Ben Foden and Jon Clarke scored tries for the Saints, Stephen Myler kicking 13 points in the match at Milton Keynes. The French club’s points came from a try by Guilhem Guirado converted by Jerome Porical.

Leinster, the 2009 winner, yesterday beat defending champion Toulouse 32-23 to advance to the final in Cardiff on May 21.

Jamie Heaslip and Brian O’Driscoll scored tries and Jonathan Sexton kicked 22 points in Dublin as Leinster avenged a loss to Toulouse in last year’s semifinals. Northampton won the tournament in 2000.
