Heat Beat 76ers 97-89 in First Game of Their NBA Playoff Series

April 16 (Bloomberg) -- The Miami Heat defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 97-89 in the first game of their National Basketball Association playoff series.

Chris Bosh scored 25 points for the Heat at American Airlines Arena in Miami. LeBron James had 21 points and Dwyane Wade had 17 for the Heat who take a one-game lead in the best-of-seven series in the Eastern Conference.
