April 15 (Bloomberg) -- Granarolo SpA’s main investor, Gran Latte, may contribute 500 million euros ($723 million) in a bid for 60 percent of Parmalat SpA, daily Il Messaggero reported, without saying where it got the information.
Italy’s state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti may invest 500 million euros, while Intesa Sanpaolo SpA would fund about 120 million euros, according to the Italian newspaper. Mediobanca SpA and BNP Paribas each are willing to invest as much as 60 million euros each, Il Messaggero reported.
Lacteos Brasil SA is willing to contribute 200 million euros, Il Messaggero reported.
