April 8 (Bloomberg) -- Lanka Orix Leasing Plc rose the most in almost three months in Colombo trading after saying it got the central bank’s approval to function as the holding company of a group which has expanded into tourism, agriculture, technology, construction and renewable energy.
Colombo-based Lanka Orix rose as much as 9.3 percent and was trading 7.5 percent higher at 125.90 rupees at 11:05 a.m. local time. Lanka Orix said the new structure would help the group “reach a phase of exponential growth in the coming years.”
