April 6 (Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or fall in Israeli markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close unless otherwise stated.
The TA-25 Index lost 0.4 percent to 1,326.88 in Tel Aviv.
Dan Vehicle & Transportation Ltd. (DVT IT): Kardan Israel Ltd. (KRIS IT) is in talks to sell half its 68.3 percent stake in the operator of the Avis car rental agency in Israel in deal valued at an estimated 160 million shekels to 200 million shekels, Calcalist reported, without saying where it got the information. A spokeswoman for Kardan Israel said the company has had initial contacts regarding a sale. Dan Vehicle gained 0.4 percent to 30.16 shekels. Kardan decreased 1.2 percent to 7.715 shekels.
Hamlet (Israel-Canada) Ltd. (HAML IT): The maker of industrial-plumbing supplies said earthquake damage to inventory at its Japanese unit was $50,000. Hamlet dropped 3.3 percent to 33.56 shekels.
