April 4 (Bloomberg) -- Naka Matsuzawa, chief strategist at Nomura Securities Co. in Tokyo, was chosen as the top analyst for Japanese bonds this year in a survey of institutional investors by Nikkei Veritas.
Hajime Takata, chief strategist at Mizuho Securities Co., was ranked second, followed by Jun Ishii, chief fixed-income strategist at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., the weekly financial newspaper reported yesterday.
In a separate ranking released on March 20, Nikkei Veritas named Taisuke Tanaka, a foreign-exchange strategist at Nomura Securities, as its top-ranked currency analyst for a second-straight year. Osamu Takashima, a currency strategist at Citigroup Inc. in Tokyo, was ranked second after placing 14th last year. Takashima moved from the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. in March 2010.
