April 1 (Bloomberg) -- Losses at companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange in 2010 exceeded profits for the first time, Kathimerini reported, citing a study by Pegasus Securities.
The 265 companies listed on the bourse reported combined net losses of 2.9 billion euros ($4.1 billion) in 2010 after 3.7 billion in profits in 2009, the newspaper said.
One hundred and sixty four companies reported combined losses of 6.7 billion euros in 2010 and 101 companies reported combined profits of 3.8 billion euros, the newspaper said.
