March 30 (Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may be active in Turkey. Symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.
Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 index fell 497.53, or 0.8 percent, to 63,763.80 yesterday.
Anadolu Efes Biracilik & Malt Sanayii AS (AEFES TI): The Middle East’s biggest brewer said net income last year rose to 503.6 million liras ($324 million) from 422.6 million liras in 2009, in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange after the market closed yesterday. Anadolu Efes dropped 20 kurus, or 0.9 percent, to 21.70 liras.
BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (BIMAS TI): The discount supermarket chain had its price estimate raised to 63 liras from 55 liras at ING Groep NV, according to a report today. BIM declined 50 kurus, or 1 percent, to 49.75 liras.
Coca-Cola Icecek AS (CCOLA TI): The Turkish bottler of coke drinks had its price estimate cut to 27 liras from 28 liras at Nomura, according to a report today. Coca-Cola Icecek gained 20 kurus, or 1.1 percent, to 19.15 liras.
Denizbank AS (DENIZ TI): The Turkish unit of Belgium’s Dexia SA is in talks with seven “big international names” to sell its life insurer Deniz Emeklilik, Haberturk reported, citing Denizbank chief executive Hakan Ates. Denizbank expects to sell the unit in May, Ates said in an interview, according to the Istanbul-based newspaper. Denizbank fell 20 kurus, or 1.8 percent, to 11 liras.
