March 6 (Bloomberg) -- DCC Plc’s energy unit has made an offer for Total SA’s U.K. assets, including 800 gas stations and one of England’s largest heating oil suppliers, the Sunday Times said, without saying where it got the information.
Paris-based Total also received offers from Harvest Energy, backed by the private equity firm Ion Equity, a group including TPG Capital, and fuel supplier Greenergy International Ltd., the newspaper said.
Tommy Breen, chief executive officer of DCC, declined to comment when contacted by telephone today.
