Tenaga to Invite Bids for Malaysian Solar Power Plant, Star Says

Tenaga Nasional Bhd., Malaysia’s biggest power producer, will soon invite bids for the country’s first solar power plant in Putrajaya, near Kuala Lumpur, the Star reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Che Khalib Mohamad Noh.

The company has completed the pre-qualification tender process for the project that may cost 60 million ringgit, according to the newspaper. The power plant will take 12 months to build, the report said.
