Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index dropped for a fourth day, losing 0.1 percent to 4,009.64 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Paris. The broader SBF-120 Index slid 0.1 percent to 2,991.80.
The following shares rose or fell in the French equity market today.
Credit Agricole SA (ACA FP) climbed 5.2 percent to 12.39 euros as France’s third-largest bank reported a narrower-than-estimated loss for the fourth quarter.
France Telecom SA (FTE FP) sank 1.5 percent to 15.96 euros as France’s biggest phone company said it sees a drop in profit margins this year as it gears up for a new mobile-phone rival in its home market in 2012.
Toupargel SA (TOU FP) rallied 5 percent to 14.70 euros, the biggest gain in three months. The food delivery company said net income was little changed at 12.9 million euros last year.
Vallourec SA (VK FP) sank 6.6 percent to 72.55 euros, dropping for an eighth day, after the producer of steel pipes reported fourth-quarter profit that missed analysts’ estimates.
