Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- The Netherlands’ AEX-Index gained 0.34, or 0.1 percent, to 370.51 in Amsterdam, its second straight advance. Belgium’s Bel20 Index rose 0.2 percent to 2,730.78.
The following were among the most active stocks in Benelux markets today. Symbols are in parentheses.
Imtech NV (IM NA) dropped 1.5 percent to 27.82 euros, ending two days of gains. The largest Dutch technical-services company reported full-year net income of 140 million euros ($188.8 million), compared with 126 million euros a year earlier.
Dexia SA (DEXB BB) soared 4.1 percent to 3.24 euros, paring four days of declines. KBC Groep NV (KBC BB) surged 4.5 percent to 31.80 euros, the highest price since Nov. 4. Belgium’s biggest financial-services company followed the Stoxx 600 Banks Index higher after Barclays Plc reported full-year net income that beat analysts’ estimates.
Separately, weekly magazine Euro reported that KBC may sell shares in its Czech unit CSOB AS as soon as the second half of March. The weekly magazine cited an unidentified person familiar with the matter at KBC. Both KBC and CSOB declined to comment on the Euro article.
