Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Penta Capital Partners Ltd. will underwrite Martin Broughton’s bid for U.K. state-owned bookmaker the Tote, the Sunday Times reported, without saying where it got the information.
Broughton, deputy chairman of International Consolidated Airlines Group SA, is one of a number of bidders for the betting firm, the newspaper said. Other potential buyers include Betfred Ltd., Gala Coral Group Ltd., the Reuben brothers and Tote’s management, according to the newspaper.
