Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 2:17 p.m. New York time.
The IGBC Index rose 0.1 percent to 14,443.58 while the Colcap Index gained 0.4 percent to 1,694.51.
Banks in Colombia saw profit rise last year by 8.5 percent to 5.86 trillion pesos ($3.1 billion) from a year earlier, according to data released today by the financial regulator.
Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA (AVAL CB), the country’s biggest financial holding company, advanced for the first time in seven sessions, rising 1.3 percent to 1,515 pesos.
Bancolombia SA (BCOLO CB), the nation’s biggest lender, jumped 1.3 percent to 26,480 pesos.
Corp. Financiera Colombiana (CORFICOL CB), a Colombian financial-services and energy holding company, known as Corficolombiana, climbed 1.8 percent to 34,800 pesos.
