Feb. 9 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama met today with Kenneth Frazier, chief executive officer of Merck & Co., the nation’s second-largest drugmaker, the administration said in a statement.
“The two discussed strategies for long-term investment in the United States, promoting innovation and spurring job growth in our country,” the statement said.
Obama regularly meets with business executives at the White House and has appointed some, including General Electric Co. chief executive Jeffrey Immelt, to White House advisory panels.
