The Netherlands’ AEX-Index lost 1.93, or 0.5 percent, to 369.18 in Amsterdam, erasing yesterday’s advance. Belgium’s Bel20 Index fell 0.3 percent to 2,719.94.

Reed Elsevier NV (REN NA) added 1.2 percent to 10.18 euros, rising for a third day. Credit Suisse Group AG added the owner of the LexisNexis database and ComputerWeekly magazine to its “focus list.” The brokerage maintained an “outperform” rating on the stock.
Mobistar SA (MOBB BB) lost 3.9 percent to 45.73 euros, the most since May. Belgium’s second-biggest mobile-phone operator forecast that profit will decline this year and reduced its dividend because of regulatory cuts to the rate it charges other operators to handle calls on its network.
Net income will drop about 17 percent to 220 million euros, plus or minus 10 million euros, the Brussels-based company said today in a statement.
Spector Photo Group NV (SPEC BB) declined 3.1 percent to 63 euro cents, the biggest drop in two weeks. The photography company that owns the Photo Hall stores said fourth-quarter revenue fell 6.7 percent to 64.6 million euros.
