The following companies’ shares may have unusual moves in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index climbed 0.1 percent to 285.00. The Stoxx 50 Index was little changed at 2,711.09. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark for nations using the euro, declined 0.6 percent to 2,995.49.
Banco Popular Espanol SA (POP SM): Spain’s third-largest bank is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter results. The stock fell 2.4 percent to 4.32 euros.
Bongrain SA (BH FP): The dairy-product manufacturer said full-year revenue rose to 3.57 billion euros from 3.28 billion euros the prior year. The shares gained 0.7 percent to 63.50 euros.
Endesa SA (ELE SM): Enel SpA, the parent company of the Spanish power company, said in a filing its gross profit rose 6.7 percent last year to 17.5 billion euros ($23.9 billion). Endesa’s shares fell 0.4 percent to 21.13 euros.
Irish Life & Permanent Plc (IPM ID): The Dublin-based lender’s banking unit plans to cut jobs and increase its standard variable mortgage rates, according to David Guinane, chief executive of the division, Permanent TSB. The shares were unchanged at 0.90 euros.
Teleperformance (RCF FP): The customer services provider said fourth-quarter revenue rose to 588.1 million euros from 475.5 million euros in the same period the prior year. The shares fell 0.9 percent to 26.32 euros.
