Israel Stocks: Gilat, Israel Land Development, Ness, Sunflower

Israel’s TA-25 Index gained the most in three weeks, advancing 0.9 percent to 1,300.68 at the 4:30 p.m. close in Tel Aviv. Investors traded about 2.6 billion shekels ($707 million) in shares and convertible securities.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (GILT IT) rose to the highest since Jan. 26, gaining 3 percent to 19.43 shekels. The Israeli developer of satellite technology was selected by a unidentified defense agency to provide a SkyEdge II broadband network for military communications.

Israel Land Development Co. (ILDC IT) climbed the most since Sept. 5, increasing 9.9 percent to 31.81 shekels. The real-estate company authorized a 15 million-shekel buyback plan.

Ness Technologies Inc. (NSTC IT) advanced to the highest since May 12, gaining 2.1 percent to 22.78 shekels. The computer-services provider said adjusted earnings from continuing operations in the fourth-quarter were 17 cents a share compared with 8 cents a share a year earlier. The median estimate of four analysts was 14 cents a share.

Sunflower Sustainable Investments Ltd. (SNFL IT) increased the most since Aug. 19, rising 7 percent to 14.52 shekels. A unit of the company that develops and buys photovoltaic solar energy projects agreed to build a solar park in Italy.
