Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- The Canadian Bankers Association promoted Terry Campbell to be its next chief executive officer, replacing Nancy Hughes Anthony.
Campbell, currently vice president of policy for the Toronto-based bankers group, will start his new role on March 1, the Canadian Bankers Association said. Campbell, 58, has been with the Toronto-based organization since 1997 and, before that, had a 16-year career in the Ontario public service.
Hughes Anthony, 61, said in September that she was retiring after almost four years with the bankers group, which represents 51 domestic lenders.
Campbell graduated with a Master’s degree in history from Queen’s University and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Toronto.
