Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- France’s CAC 40 Index lost 6.09, or 0.2 percent, to 4,066.53 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Paris. The broader SBF 120 Index also declined 0.2 percent.
The following is a list of companies whose shares rose or fell in the French equity market today. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
Cap Gemini SA (CAP FP) soared 3.9 percent to 38.73 euros. Europe’s largest computer-services company will cooperate with Intel Corp. to make a home energy-management system, according to Cap Gemini’s head of smart home services. The French and U.S. partners will work together on a tablet-style computer that will let customers adjust the power consumption of their home appliances.
Fleury Michon SA (FLE FP) surged 5 percent to 35.20 euros. France’s biggest seller of cooked ham generated fourth-quarter sales of 156.2 million euros ($215.4 million), compared with 138.1 million euros a year earlier.
GL Events SA (GLO FP) climbed 2 percent to 25.36 euros. The company, which manages exhibition venues and supplies events services, posted fourth-quarter revenue of 219.7 million euros, compared with 177.3 million euros a year earlier.
