Jan. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the fifth-largest U.S. bank by assets, gave its London co-Chief Executive Officer Michael Sherwood a 9-million pound ($14.3 million) stock bonus for 2010, the Sunday Times reported.
The investment bank’s award to Sherwood, 45, is likely to rank as one of the largest paydays in the U.K. this year, the newspaper reported, without saying where it got the information. Sherwood’s bonus is larger than that of Goldman Sach’s Chairman and CEO Lloyd Blankfein, who received a bonus of 7.9 million pounds, the newspaper said.
