Jan. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Arnoldo Mondadori Editore SpA, controlled by Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s Fininvest SpA won’t publish the next book by Roberto Saviano, author of the bestseller “Gomorrah” about the Naples mafia.
Saviano’s next book, due out in March, will be published by Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore Srl, the Milan-based publisher said in an e-mailed statement today.
Saviano last week clashed with Mondadori Chairman Marina Berlusconi, the premier’s daughter, after publicly expressing his support for Milan prosecutors who are investigating her father in an underage prostitution case.
Saviano will write more books for Mondadori, Riccardo Cavallero, an executive at the publisher, told news agency Ansa.
“Saviano is and will be an important author for our company,” he said, Ansa reported.
