Greece Will Start Crete Airport Tender This Week, Euro2Day Says

Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Greece’s Infrastructure Ministry will on Jan. 21 invite bids to construct and operate Kastelli airport, in Crete, Euro2Day reported, without saying where it got the information.

Four groups have lined up for the tender competition, and the winner should be announced by the end of the third quarter, the news website said today. The groups are Vinci SA and Ellaktor SA; Bouygues SA and J&P-Avax SA; Hochtief AG and GEK Terna SA; and Strabag SE and Archirodon Group NV, according to Euro2Day.
