Jan. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Frontline Ltd. and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA are considering hiring armed guards to protect their ships against pirates, newspaper Dagens Naeringsliv reported today citing the two companies.
Shipper Stolt-Nielsen Ltd. already employes armed guards and other anti-piracy security measures at a cost of $1 million per month, the Oslo-based newspaper reported.
