Jan. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Telekom Austria AG’s Croatian Vipnet unit is planning to acquire “one or two” alternative operators in Croatia from a list that includes B.net, H1 Telekom and Optima Telekom, Poslovni Dnevnik reported, citing people it didn’t identify.
Vipnet aims to garner 150 million euros ($195 million) to 200 million euros from its owner and use the money to enter into the fixed-line market in Croatia, Poslovni said.
The Croatian mobile company is in the “final phase” of negotiations to take over Metronet, Poslovni said.
