Jan. 2 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will visit Israel this week to discuss bolstering cooperation, particularly on airline security, Israeli and U.S. officials said.
Napolitano will meet tomorrow with President Shimon Peres for talks on security issues and the Middle East peace process, Ayelet Frisch, a presidential spokeswoman, said today in an e-mailed statement.
Napolitano will also meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the three-day trip and Israeli Aviation Authority officials, U.S. Embassy spokesman Kurt Hoyer said by telephone.
