Dec. 29 (Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may be active in the Greek market. Symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the previous close.
The benchmark ASE Index rose 6.89, or 0.5 percent, to 1,411.09. The FTSE/ASE 20 Index of the country’s biggest companies advanced 0.7 percent to 661.28. The Cypriot General Index gained 0.5 percent to 1,031.97.
Attica Holdings SA (ATTICA GA): Shares in Greece’s biggest ferry operator trade today without the right to participate in a capital increase offering 9 new shares for every 50 held at 0.83 euros apiece. The stock gained 1.5 percent to 67 cents.
Dias Aquaculture SA (DIFF GA): About 5.8 million new shares commence trading in the fish farmer today, arising from the conversion of bonds. The shares added 0.6 percent to 1.64 euros.
Eurodrip SA (EDRIP GA): As of today 228,000 new shares in the manufacturer of drip-irrigation systems resulting from an employee stock option plan begin trading. The shares were unchanged at 99 cents.
