Dec. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Support for Germany’s Social Democrats rose 1 percentage point to 27 percent, Bild am Sonntag said, citing a poll it conducted.
Support for Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democrats remained unchanged at 34 percent and for the Free Democrats, Merkel’s coalition partner, at 5 percent, the newspaper cited the poll as showing. The Green Party lost 1 percentage point to 19 percent, while the Left Party remained steady at 10 percent. The Emnid survey polled 3,267 people from Dec. 16 to Dec. 22.
