Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia’s Jakarta Composite index fell 2.57, or 0.1 percent, to 3,689.67 at the 4 p.m. local-time close, falling for a third day.
PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG IJ) rose 1.5 percent to 132 rupiah. The oil and gas company resumed oil production at a rate of 1,800 barrels a day to 2,000 barrels a day at its Kangen PSC field in East Java, it said in an e-mailed press release yesterday.
PT Timah (TINS IJ), Indonesia’s largest tin producer, added 1.8 percent to 2,800 rupiah. Tin rose 1.4 percent to $26,150 a ton yesterday.
PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa (DSSA IJ) jumped 13 percent to 16,400 rupiah. PT Bumi Kencana Eka Sakti, a coal mining unit of Dian Swastatika Sentosa, wants to raise more than 1 trillion rupiah from an initial public offering in the first quarter of next year, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing Kokaryadi Chandra, president director of PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, which is helping to arrange the share sale.
