Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- A South Korean fishing vessel with 42 people aboard is sinking in waters near the South Pole, television broadcaster YTN reported, without saying where it got the information.
The ship is sinking in an area about 1,400 miles (2,250 kilometers) south of New Zealand, according to the report. South Korea has asked New Zealand to help with rescue efforts, YTN said.
