U.K. Business Lobby Appoints Centrica’s Carr as President

Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- The Confederation of British Industry, the U.K.’s biggest business lobby, appointed Roger Carr as president from June 2011.

Carr is chairman of Centrica Plc, the U.K.’s biggest energy supplier, and a director on the court of the Bank of England. He will succeed Helen Alexander at the London-based lobby group.
