Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Southern California Edison, the California utility owned by Edison International, idled some production capacity at a Mountainview plant unit.
The company’s 525-megawatt Unit 3 had 285 megawatts idled as of 3:15 p.m. local time today, the California Independent System Operator said in a report.
The natural-gas-powered plant, east of Los Angeles in Redlands, California, has a total capacity of 1,054 megawatts, according to the company’s website.
